Speaking at a public event in Islamnagar, RJD leader and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav emphasized the importance of coming together and electing Tejashwi Yadav as the next Bihar Chief Minister. Lalu emphasized the value of unity and dedication to the people of Bihar while speaking on the occasion of the late Krishna Ballabh Prasad's 24th death anniversary.

Lalu restated his position during his speech at the Khanqah School Ground, saying, "We haven't bowed down to anyone and we won't. Lalu Prasad Yadav does as he says. He made it plain that the time has come for Bihar to join together and create a government led by Tejashwi Yadav.

Lalu paid his homage at the Mazar of Lodi Shah and the Maa Jagdamba temple before he spoke to the throng. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of a united front for the next Bihar assembly elections and the necessity of working together to safeguard the future of the state and the nation.

In addition, Lalu pledged that, like in Jharkhand, women in Bihar would receive a direct transfer of ₹2,500 into their accounts if the RJD-led government takes power. He also promised the state's citizens free power. In order to create a strong and secure future for Bihar and the country, he called on people to unite in favor of Tejashwi.

Lalu Prasad once again demonstrated his leadership and resolve in his characteristic manner, urging steadfast support for his son Tejashwi and the RJD's future goals. With the promise of a prosperous Bihar under Tejashwi's leadership, his address energised the audience.
